We like to say that we are a legacy church plant. In 1992, Pastors Greg and Diane Burns founded New Dimensions Christian Center in Pensacola, Florida as a place for people to unlock their destiny. In 2019 decades of personal and community impact, they turned the church over to Pastors Tyler and Mylena Burns.

Their passion to see younger generations walk in true freedom in Jesus and greatness in their purpose led to a relaunch in 2022. Rise City Church is designed with this vision in mind: We pursue Jesus and unlock kingdom greatness in Jesus followers.

We believe that following Jesus is the greatest decision that anyone can make. We also believe that when you make a decision to follow Jesus, it is the job of the community you join to bring out the Kingdom greatness that you were designed to walk in.

After 2 years of building this community, Rise City is now a multi-generational, multi-ethnic family of believers that have committed themselves to Jesus and to one another. We do not know what the future holds fr our church, but we are convinced that Jesus has placed us in the heart of the city for such. time as this.
